Meghan White

After 7 tumultuous years in active substance use, Meghan found herself newly sober at the age of 25. She describes this juncture in her life as Ground Zero, having just emerged from the chaos and destruction of alcoholism. She is a grateful alumna of CeDAR where she also spent 7 years of her professional career as the Director of Alumni Services. She serves Hardbeauty as the Director of the Operation CARE program, which aims to provide immediate peer recovery support services to individuals in both inpatient and outpatient medical settings. Meghan also serves on the board for Colorado Artists in Recovery as part of the partnerships and outreach committee.

Meghan was born and raised in Denver and loves to call Colorado home for its endless nature, live music, plentiful coffee shops, and the Denver Nuggets. She enjoys writing and photographing urban art and culture. Meghan fosters animals through Pawsitive Recovery and just recently adopted a Frenchie through the program who is named Oscar de la Renta (Ozzy).

She is passionate about helping to create more accessible, sustainable, and culturally responsive pathways to recovery for underserved communities, believing recovery is a right for all.
